VIDEO25 Princess Diana Anniversary

Twenty years ago arguably one of the most famous women in the world died in a car crash in Paris. Then and now the Flame of Liberty in the French capital has become a sort of shrine to Princess Diana.

Many still remember the night (Aug 31) how she died. Aged 36 Diana along with her lover Dodi al-Fayed were killed when a limousine carrying them crashed in the Alma tunnel as it sped away from paparazzi giving chase on motorbikes. The tunnel still bears the marks of a tragic episode which shook the world.

Unlawful Killing is a 2011 British documentary film, directed by Keith Allen, about the deaths of Diana, Princess of Wales and Dodi Fayed on 31 August 1997. It was financed by Mohamed Al-Fayed and Associated-Rediffusion and shown in Cannes while the 2011 Cannes Film Festival was in progress.

It's almost inevitable that YouTube will at some point (a day or a month from now) take down this important documentary by Keith Allen. I'm asking, that when this happens, others in the YouTube community upload it.

Assassination Confession of MI5 Officer John Hopkins

https://steemit.com/steemit/@jenniferyoung/retired-mi5-agent-confesses-on-deathbed-i-killed-princess-diana

An 80-year-old retired MI5 agent, John Hopkins, has made a series of astonishing confessions since he was released from hospital, including claims he assassinated Princess Diana on Royal orders.

An 80-year-old retired MI5 agent, John Hopkins, has made a series of astonishing confessions since he was released from hospital in London on Wednesday and told he has weeks to live. Hopkins claims to have been involved in 23 assassinations for the British intelligence agency between 1973 and 1999, including Princess Diana.

Mr. Hopkins, who worked for M15 for 38 years as an operative, claims he was often used as an hitman by the agency, to discreetly assassinate individuals considered a threat to the domestic security of the United Kingdom.

Trained as both a mechanical engineer and munitions expert, Mr. Hopkins claims he also has extensive experience of less conventional methods of inflicting death and destruction, including chemicals and poisons.

The 80-year-old British man claims he was involved with MI5 assassinations between June 1973 and December 1999, during a period he says “the MI5 operated with less external oversight.” Hopkins says he was part of a cell of seven operatives who were trusted to carry out political assassinations across the UK. Most victims were politicians, activists, journalists and union leaders.

Mr. Hopkins says Princess Diana is unique among his victims, as she is the only female he ever assassinated, as well as the only Royal. She is also the only victim that the Royal Family themselves ordered to be taken out.

He claims to feel “ambivalent” about Princess Diana’s death. On the one hand, Diana was “a beautiful, kind-hearted woman” who did not deserve to have her life cut short. But according to Mr. Hopkins, she was also placing the British Crown at risk: “She knew too many Royal secrets. She had a huge grudge and she was going to go public with all sorts of wild claims. My boss told me she had to die – he’d received orders directly from Prince Philip – and we had to make it look like an accident. I’d never killed a woman before, much less a princess, but I obeyed orders. I did it for Queen and country.”

The next stage of the high-level conspiracy involved the media, under tight Palace control, talking to each other to “square their stories, make sure everybody was on the same page. It was a well run operation.”

“British journalists all answer to editors who answer to oligarchs who all want knighthoods from the crime family at Buckingham Palace. There is no free press in Britain,” said Mr. Hopkins.

“We got away with murder.”

The 80-year-old, spending his final weeks at home, said he expects to be taken into custody following his admissions, but says “I can’t say that I care an awful lot.” Hopkins explained that any investigation into the affair would “take forever” and be “very complicated” because there are few written records around secret MI5 activities and “most of my colleagues are already dead“.

The most important witness in the case, Mr. Hopkin’s boss, died of a heart attack in “the early 2000s” and the alleged ringleader, Prince Philip, “will never be charged with anything, of course“

[Queen Elizabeth Ordered Princess Diana Murder Says Diana’s Best Friend]

“If Prince Philip ever let himself be analyzed by a psychiatrist I’m sure he’d be diagnosed a psychopath. He has all the dark triad traits.”

Asked why he didn’t refuse the job, or expose the plot at the time, he explained “MI5 agents swear allegiance to the Crown, we can’t be impartial when it comes to the Royal family. At best I would have been done for treason, at worst Philip would have designed a grisly fate for me.”

Princess Diana's Drivers Believed She Was Alive That Night in the Hospital

Title- Princess Diana's driver- That night in the hospital

Nearly twenty years after Princess Diana's death, her longtime driver, Colin Tebbutt, is speaking out about losing his friend. Tebbutt was one of the two British drivers who retrieved Princess Diana's body from the hospital where she passed away in Paris, France. In a recent interview, Tebbutt talked about what he witnessed on that fateful night at the hospital.

From the sounds of it, the chauffeur was in such a state of shock when he saw Princess Diana's lifeless body that his mind played tricks on him and made him think she was alive. He said, I plugged the fans into the room to get some air circulating. I look 'round, and the eyelids and the front of the hair of the Princess were moving. I thought, 'God, she's alive,' Within a second, I realized what was happening. Turned around, a couple seconds to myself, I managed to get it together again. But that was the one bit when I felt I lost myself.

Colin Tebbutt offers the description of the hospital scene during The Story of Diana, an upcoming television event by People and ABC. The story is one Tebbutt has touched on before. He previously talked about having to put up blankets over the windows because paparazzi standing on adjacent buildings were trying to use zoom-lens cameras to capture a picture of Princess Diana through the hospital windows. Naturally, the temperature of the room went from hot to sweltering, which is why Tebbutt turned on all of the fans. He has said that he wanted not to be emotional at the hospital but that seeing her hair flutter tore him up inside.

A similar story previously came from Paul Burrell, the other driver who joined Colin Tebbutt in retrieving Princess Diana's body. In an interview, Burrell said he honestly thought Princess Diana was not dead when he entered the hospital room. He said the thought crossed his mind that the whole situation was nothing more than an elaborate joke. Sadly, that was not the case.

Princess Diana died in a devastating car accident on August 31, 1997. With the twentieth anniversary approaching, stories about Princess Diana have again begun to dominate headlines as people who were close to her are opening up about that tragic time. In addition to The Story of Diana, people can catch the documentary Diana, Our Mother: Her Life and Legacy.

In that documentary, Prince William and Prince Harry talk about the fact they had not seen their mother in a month when she died because she was making a humanitarian trip to speak out against the use of landmines. In recent times, Prince William also reflected on milestones his mother has missed and how much the royal family misses her. Colin Tebbutt and Paul Burrell unquestionably miss her every day, too.

Princess Diana was murdered British police told the father of driver - By Jon Rogers

http://www.express.co.uk/news/royal/837856/Diana-princess-Diana-murdered-Henri-Paul-father-Jean-Paul-Scotland-Yard-Paris-crash

THE father of the driver behind the wheel when Princess Diana died claims British police told him the royal was murdered.

Jean Paul, the father of tragic Henri Paul, the driver of Diana’s car when she was killed in a car crash in Paris, said he had been told by British police the princess had been “bumped off”.

He believed that Diana and her boyfriend Dodi Fayed had been killed by an establishment plot in a bid to stop the former Princess of Wales from marrying a Muslim. The the death of his son was seen as merely “collateral damage”, he said.

Speaking to the Daily Mirror at his home in Brittany, northern France he said: “Diana was killed and my son was killed. I believe they were both murdered. My son was simply collateral damage of a plot to kill Diana and they killed him as well.

“I am 100 per cent sure he was not involved in this plot. He was too honourable and too honest. The English police came here to visit me and sat exactly where you are sitting now.

“Even inside Scotland Yard there are two sides. One believes there was a secret plot to kill Diana, the other believes it was a genuine accident.

“Even today there are too many classified secrets with this incident.

“I have no real hope to know what really happened. Perhaps it will be known in 30 or 50 years. But I would really like to know before I die. But I don’t think it will happen.”

The 85-year-old also hit out over claims his son, who was 41 at the time, was drunk.

He said: “He was not an alcoholic. He was not a drug addict. That’s just lies.”

He claimed his son’s blood sample could have been swapped or tampered with to make it appear he had alcohol in his system.

Mr Paul added: “On that day there were over 20 autopsies that took place and it was easy for the authorities to switch blood samples to show alcohol was present in the sample they said was Henri’s.

The three-month inquest into Diana’s death, which heard from 250 witnesses, found she and Mr Fayed had been unlawfully killed and the deaths were down, in part, to the “gross negligence” of both the driver and the pursuing paparazzi who were following the Mercedes S-280 limo.

The inquest said Princess Diana and Mr Fayed died in a tragic accident when Henri crashed their speeding car while drunk in a Paris tunnel.

The Met police also dismissed reports SAS troops were behind the couple’s death, saying there was “no credible evidence” to support any such claim.

There were also allegations a mystery white Fiat Uno could have collided with Diana and Dodi’s car.

But frail Mr Paul said: “It took them over an hour to get Princess Diana to hospital and that is when they made arrangements to make up the story about the Fiat Uno, the white car. It was a diversion and a decoy.

“This was just one of the many things that do not add up. For example I still cannot believe a street cleaning vehicle was going through the tunnel cleaning up just a few hours after the accident. That is shocking.”

Diana’s former lover James Hewitt told an inquiry into her death that he was “warned off” and received phone calls telling him to end their liaison, which lasted from 1989 to 1990.

But he denied reports he had been warned by MI5 that if he did not stop seeing her he would die in a car crash.

Mr Paul also supported the recent claims by former VIP chauffeur Karim Kazi that the Mercedes Diana was riding in at the time of the fateful crash was a “death-trap”.

Mr Paul said: “The truth is the car was old and it was dangerous and it should not have been driven.

“The brakes were dangerous. They discovered six per cent water in the brake fluid. How did that happen?

“There was a piece of metal found at the scene, but nobody knows what it was. There are too many unanswered questions. But I do know my son is dead.”

Mr Paul also paid tribute to his son, saying he was a “loyal and generous man”.

He said: “I remember we received many letters of support from all over the world, one in particular from Australia and another from an English milkman.

“They both said, ‘We know your son is innocent’. And that is what my son’s friends put on a wreath for his funeral.

“The very last thing I want to say about this incident is: Someone killed my son. Someone killed my son.”

Scotland Yard has been contacted for a response.

A letter to the Guardian

Mohamed Al Fayed
Monday January 9, 2006
The Guardian

Dear Sir,
My attention has been drawn to an article by your columnist, Alexander Chancellor, that appeared in your edition of December 24 2005, under the heading: "You pays your money ...."

Rarely have I seen such a vile example of deliberate poisonous malice, thinly disguised as opinion. The Guardian has a fine reputation for scrupulously sticking to the facts. For never allowing the boundaries to blur between fact and comment.

Yet Alexander Chancellor deliberately disregarded the facts to write a hateful and venomous attack on my store and me. Chancellor is an odious creep who has become a disease on the face of the Guardian.

If he wished to make a fool of himself by demonstrating his lack of taste in describing Harrods, the world's most celebrated department store, as "tacky"and "depressing", then that was up to him. But when this journalist jackal poured scorn and derision upon the Book of Condolence, the real purpose of his disgraceful attack became all too clear.
The reason for the Book of Condolence is that, after Diana, Princess of Wales, and my beloved son, Dodi Fayed, were murdered, people who came to Harrods from all over the world asked me to create a place where they could go to remember those two wonderful young people and to record their tributes to them.

The book lies open at Harrods, every day. In it, visitors record their thoughts and prayers for the loving couple who died together, so tragically, eight years ago. So far, people of all races and creeds have filled 50 books with messages of love and kindness.

And that is exactly what Alexander Chancellor's attack on Harrods, and myself, was really all about. How dare this morally bankrupt swine sneer at the memory of a loving young couple whose lives were so cruelly snuffed out, and at ordinary decent people who feel so strongly about them?

The truth is that your columnist, Alexander Chancellor, is an establishment toady who is using his position on the Guardian for his own ends. He is a middle-class racist willing to sink to any depths to please his establishment masters. And he cannot bear the thought of the memory of the love of the Princess of Wales, and Dodi Fayed, being kept alive.

Before worming his way into the employ of your newspaper, which came as something of a surprise to most journalists, the poisonous Chancellor was the cringing lackey of Conrad Black, the disgraced owner of the Daily Telegraph.

As editor of the Guardian, I suspect that you will feel duty bound to defend your columnist and tell me that he is free to write whatever he wishes, so long as it is within the law. But I wonder if it has crossed your mind that there was yet another, darker reason why Chancellor abused the hospitality of your columns to attack me.

You will remember that I helped bring down the last Tory government. And that the Guardian was alone in supporting me. I regarded it then as my patriotic duty to help get rid of politicians that were rotten to the core. And I did so at no small risk to myself. But I never wavered. And neither did the Guardian. Can you imagine how angry Mr Chancellor, the Tories' champion, must have been? With both me and the Guardian?

Perhaps you should privately remind your double-dealing, sleazy, columnist that the Guardian is a newspaper, not a platform for his slimy establishment propaganda. And that if Chancellor wishes to deliberately grind his axe, by confusing fact with comment, he might be happier working for another, less scrupulous newspaper.

Though, having failed at so many jobs, it is difficult to imagine upon whom he might next inflict himself.

Yours faithfully,

M Al Fayed, chairman
